Nutrition, photography, and sports—what a delightful mix! They seem like different worlds, but they are all beautifully interconnected.

Today, I want to share some exciting news with you: I’ll be offering Nutrition Coaching at several fabulous venues in Dubai, and we’re rolling out an inspiring 12-week program designed to help you achieve the best shape of your life.

Have you ever noticed how food seems to be the answer to so many of our life’s puzzles? Let’s dive deeper into this. As a nutrition therapist, I’ve discovered that by examining your habits a little more closely, you can uncover answers to some of the everyday mysteries that surround us—like why you might be having trouble sleeping or experiencing mood swings. These issues are often tied to how you live your life.

It’s crucial to find happiness in the things you do if you’re aiming for change. For women, increasing protein intake after 30 is essential to maintaining muscle mass and enhancing bone density. Did you know muscle weighs more than fat, but takes up less space? This means you might weigh more but actually look leaner because of those strong muscles—a valuable lesson I’ve learned myself!

If you’re seeking change, it’s important to focus on your habits, training, and environment, because stress definitely has a strong influence on your lifestyle.

Today, I’m excited to share five things that shape my life into what it is now—relaxed and easy!

  1. Morning meditation to center myself. Research shows that meditation can significantly reduce stress and improve overall well-being (source: Harvard Health Publishing).
  2. Starting the day with a refreshing cup of yerba mate. Yerba mate is known for its antioxidant properties and can enhance energy levels without the jitteriness of caffeine (source: Journal of Food Science).
  3. Morning training sessions five times a week: two weightlifting, one running, one cycling, and of course, yoga. Regular exercise is crucial for maintaining physical and mental health, and can lead to a longer life (source: Mayo Clinic).
  4. Exploring and enjoying my favorite spots here in beautiful Dubai. Engaging with your environment and finding joy in your surroundings can boost happiness and reduce stress (source: Journal of Environmental Psychology).
  5. Fueling my work with healthy meals like salads with protein, chia seed puddings, or protein shakes. Proper nutrition supports energy levels and keeps your body functioning optimally (source: American Journal of Clinical Nutrition).
  6. Embracing growth: I spend 5-10 minutes walking on the sand or earth to decompress and let life’s stressors melt away. Grounding, or “earthing,” has been shown to improve mood and reduce inflammation (source: Journal of Environmental and Public Health).
