The heat is growing slowly here in Dubai…
…It’s Sunday, June 8th.
and my heat is… well, everywhere.

I hopped on my bike this morning and rode to Odeon on Jumeirah Beach Road. I sat in the sunshine, breathing in the Paris‑vibe café charm, and savoured a buttery, flaky croissant. That moment—so simple, yet so alive—it woke me up from the inside.
I just had the most incredible four days—a magic blend of slow joy, genuine connection, and permission to truly be. Not because of anything grand, but because I let myself feel.
I allowed the laughter, the conversations, the unfolding, to wash over me. And today… I’m writing this for you—yes, you, who drops in here now and then, reading my heart on screen.
Life is too short.
So dance in your kitchen.
Open that bottle of wine.
Text the person who matters right now.
Tell them: I love you—friends, family, whoever.
Speak until 2am if that’s what your soul needs—because it’s worthy. All of it is.
We spend so long hiding behind walls.
I know. I’ve built them too.
My friend Sian said it best:
“Stop chasing the next. Learn to be present.”
So I was present.
And it was magic.
I laughed until I nearly lost my voice. The world faded out, and there was only peace and pure joy.
Some people show up in your life to expand you, to inspire you, to remind you of your capacity to feel—and that is enough.
When you’re in a place like Dubai, it’s important to create a good environment—and honestly, that’s what matters most.
My next step? Learn sailing. Enjoy the club. Wear that dress. And live my life exactly how I want it.
So here I am—cycling through Dubai, drinking coffee at Odeon, letting go, opening wide.
I’m done with overthinking. Well… I did it all in full Melanie style. But now? Now, I’m just glad.
So happy.
Because I had the best time I’ve had in a very, very long time.
And if you’re reading this, maybe it’s your sign too.
Let’s do it: Grab your phone. Send that message.
Because today—you’re here. You’re alive. You belong to this moment.
And Dubai… well, it’s whispering, “Grow.”
